Voice of a River

Genre: Young-Adult Sapphic Regency Romance

When Addison suddenly rescues a drowning, voiceless girl named River, she finds herself in too deep with affections she cannot deny.

If you asked my Mother, she would say, “Addison was always meant for a prosperous marriage.“ Though if you asked me, the prospect of marriage without love made as much sense as Once Upon a Time without Happily Ever After. And though I’d wished for it countless times, I had never fallen in love.

And then I saw her, the siren beauty who walked into the river only to drown in it.

From the instant I pushed her to the shoreline, my heart was won by her existence; however, mine just appeared to aggravate her. The otherworldly woman with no voice beguiled me faster than I could earn her name: River.

Despite her apparent disdain, her every piercing stare, the intention of her closeness, the purpose in her brushed touch, begged to tell me a different story.

If I am to discover the true nature of her sentiment, we will have to learn to communicate— and with the way those moon-stricken eyes kept leering at me, it is proving to be a dizzyingly difficult task.

Desperate to learn more about this mysterious musician, to hear his heart again, Kosuke needs to see him play, and the best way to do so is by accompanying him.

An empty seat at the piano, the bright stage lights, and the soul of Ronan’s strings waiting to be played, soon Kosuke will be anything but invisible.
